Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026
The short version: Song Baby doesn't collect your data.

No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your recordings and songs stay on your iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. Song Baby does not collect, store on a server, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software.

The microphone

Song Baby asks for microphone access so you can record yourself singing or humming. The recording is analyzed on your iPhone to find the notes, key and chords. Audio is never uploaded or sent anywhere.

Where your songs live

Your recordings, songs and settings are saved locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

When you choose Export MIDI, the file goes only where you send it (for example Files, AirDrop or another app), using Apple's share sheet.

Purchases

Your first songs are free. The one-time "Unlock Song Baby" purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name or Apple ID; the app only learns whether the unlock is active.

Third parties

Song Baby shares no data with third parties, because it has none to share. The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Song Baby is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Song Baby ever changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated first, the effective date above will change, and the app's App Store privacy details will be updated to match.
